Correction. If the New Testament depiction is what they want people to believe, you should be calling it your Third try...

IF the New Testament narrative is what you want to claim to be , that Jesus was crucified and resurrected from the dead, he came back a second time and was said to be seen by a number of people, but he STILL didn't do a THING to fulfill the promises from God to the Jewish people that the Davidic messiah ( anointed ruler of Israel ) is to do in the world.

According to what the Tanakh has promised about the Davidic messiah, the objective evidence of the world around us reveals we are not in a post-messianic world. Missionaries are also a de-facto admission that it hasn't happened. No one will need a sales pitch to know when there is universal peace, brotherhood and worship of the incorporeal God of Israel.

He wasn't even depicted as being a qualified candidate. He wasn't ever a messiah. And for all the millions of Christians who insist on telling the Jews in the ancient world at the time of the beginning of the New Testament doctrine until today that Jesus was a Jewish messiah, that's like people from other countries insisting that Frank Sinatra was the President of the United States in the 1940's when the citizens of the United States who were alive in the 1940's know who was the president and know Frank Sinatra never was an elected official of any sort.

It's just not logical to insist that the Jews redefine the meaning of messiah to fit a replacement theology created to negate us as a people dedicated to One God who is ONE exclusively and assimilate us into the Roman Empire.

It is impossible for me to believe that the character depicted in the New Testament Jesus actually existed. I see him as a composite character of at least three failed messiah hopefuls along with the Romanized version of Tammuz/Mithras, incarnate savior deities whose death as humans were sacrifices for the sinful natures of their adherents. See how I turned a bit of trolling into a comparative religion lesson :) check out the website I've given in the writing above, too.

Well, Jesus…if you're my neighborhood landscape gardener, and by "second coming" you mean coming back to finish trimming the shrubs and hauling away the burlap bundles of cut grass you left earlier this week, you could be accurate.

See? This is why abortion should remain legal. No one should have to carry an immaculate conception to term.
