do you eat with a soup spoon or a dessert spoon?

the reason i ask this - is cause i find soup spoons hurt my mouth - i never use them

    i think that dessert spoons are nicer to people's mouths so i would choose that but i use a soup spoon because that is what i have

    When its soup...I eat out o soup spoons cause it doesn't leak off the sides..they have smaller soup spoons

    I use a dessert spoon because my mouth is small and portion I get with it is just right.

    Desert spoon for anything besides soup.

    I eat with a tiny teaspoon, for small bites, smaller than the regular teaspoon you use on the table, it is French.

    I have the entire tea set and the spoons to go with them, I got them while we were in France in 1997 on vacation.
