Does my teacher like me romantically?
I know this is gonna sound weird, but I feel my worst fears are true.
Here's why I think she does: she acts, lets say, differently around me. For example, she'll be fidgety and a bit more silent than usual when I'm around her. Her face all of a sudden becomes serious and attentive when I talk to her (she's normally always smiling with other students) Her pupils also always dilate when she sees me. If she ever passes me outside of class, she'll look down, as if embarrassed. I also have an A in her class (the class is AP US History), so I've given a good impression to her lol. She's also really young (like twenties) and not married. I sit in the front of her class, and have sometimes seen her directly talking to me when lecturing. I once went up to her after class to ask her a question, and oh my god she was so awkward.
I don't have a crush on her; I'm not hallucinating or trying to get her I swear. I just really need to know if she likes me that way?

Its possible. Hard to tell with teachers. But I'm still not sure she likes you IN THAT WAY. Clearly she enjoys your company, and if she's an nice and smart as you lead her on to be, she probably recognizes that you are a very nice dude and maybe she recognizes that you are attractive. She's humans, its possible she's thought about that at some point. Maybe she caught herself thinking it, and got embarrassed for herself and now she's trying to act normal to avoid making you uncomfortable?
Her age suggests that she's still quite young and this is probably just a phase of some sort. Maybe she's just really shy, or its possible (though she enjoys having you around) that you make her nervous. My teacher always admits that we (as a class) make her nervous and she's always really funny and awkward around us, so maybe its just her personality. People sometimes tend to act different around different people. :)

The dilation of the pupils is a definite sign of attraction. But that doesn't mean she has romantic feelings. You have to separate the two. We can't control who we find attractive (there are lots of factors there; some scientists think scent is one of the primary ones), but we can control who we pursue a relationship with. She knows you're an inappropriate target of her affections, and she's not likely to do anything about her attraction to you.

Don't go there. It could end up with trouble for you and your teacher could end up in prison, unable ever to work again in education.
If you feel that she really does like you, ignore it. Yes it might be flattering your ego, but this situation is dangerous and if you are wrong, it could put you in an embarrassing situation.
Should she ever make any approaches, report it to a senior teacher, and fast! My guess is that there is another explanation here, but who knows?
