  • I can't improve in tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was 6, and my coach used to always tell me I was advanced for my age. My coach then changed a few years later. The new one on the contrary said that I wasn't actually good because I never played competitively. A few years later, I played competitively for the first time and was consistently losing, and regretfully quit for a year. I then played tennis for my high school team but got placed on the lowest position on that team.

I seriously don't know what to do. I've feel like I play a lot and yet I can't ever seem to get better. Any advice?

  • Girls, how would you feel in this situation?

When I was walking behind my crush, she looked behind her at her friend. So then I approach her, and when she sees me looking at her, she locks eyes with me. she smiles big and looks away. While she does this though, she didnt't blush and looked perfectly calm. When her friend caught up, she turned and walked with her friend. Was this a flirt?

  • Does she seem to like me?

Ok, so I've always had a suspicion that she may be into me, but today I found out she really might. So when I was about to pass her, my friend was coincidentally right in front of her. I say wassup to my friend, and then just like that, she starts panicking. Any ideas?

  • Does she still like me?

Ok, so this girl seems to like me. I saw her walking up to me, smiling at me, and turning her head to look at me. She even pointed at me while talking to one of her friends. , Today, I saw her coming out of the class room looking for me (she normally sees me there) and was upset that she didn't see me. Later today, she was passing by me and made only a few glances and then just kept talking to her friend. It's been a few days and I still haven't made a move yet. Did she give up or does she probably still like me?

  • I really screwed up my gpa. Assistance needed.?

When i say gpa I mean weighted. This is my schedule: AP English, AP Biology, Physiology Honors, Math Analysis Honors, AP Psychology, and AP US History. I have As in all of these except in English and Biology. I'm not worried about english but my biology was dropped to a B cause I never turned in any homework. As a result, my gpa is like 4.5, when it could have easily been higher than 4.7. **** my life. Any advice?

  • Will I ever find the right girl?

I don't understand how I can ever find anyone. I simply feel that there is a very insignificant chance I will find the girl that I am looking for because my expectations are too high and selective. Any advice?

  • Can sadness actually be a type of joy?

If sadness really is a negative emotion, then why are so many people allured into listening to sad songs and reading sad books? Throughout history, countless cultures like China, Japan, Iran, Spain, and Italy were overshadowed by melancholy. Why does humanity therefore have an inclination towards sadness?

When we are depressed, why do we want to cling to our sadness via music, poignant contemplations, etc.?

Lastly, why do people perceive sad arts (like tragic books and romance movies) as beautiful-maybe even more beautiful than any other kind of art like comedy? Why are people supposed to cry when they hear a musical piece so beautiful?

Is sadness really all that bad or do we actually enjoy it?

  • Is this a sign that she likes me?

I know i'm gonna get a lot of "oh my god you're so stupid" comments. Well guess what! I'm not good with street smarts so please help!

While i was walking and minding my own business, this girl randomly says hi to me. I don't know her, and it was out of the blue. So I say hi to her and decide to talk to her. Her friend (who was sitting right beside her) really seemed to take an interest in me and kept asking me all these questions. Then after a few dialogues, the girl herself asks me random questions. What I'm trying to say is that both of them seemed to really be curious about me. While the girl talked to me, she was really fidgety and laughed easily. She also looked like she was about to pee lol. When I left, I overheard her laughing hysterically when she thought I couldn't hear her anymore. Is this a good sign?

She's also British, if that helps in anyway lol.

  • Girls: is she blowing me off?

In highschool, there is this girl that i have been glancing at for a few months. I used to catch her looking at me a lot, and still do, but not as much anymore. These last few weeks, I've been saying hi to her, and she always responds with a wave and smile, then moves on; nothing more. Also, during these last few weeks she has been less fidgety and more relaxed when around me. And then a week ago, I asked her, "Can I have a moment with you." She then said that she had to go to the bathroom. At the end of that day, while I was walking out of school, her friend was walking right behind me. I then hear her literally running, thinking at first that she wanted to talk to me. She then starts complaining to her friend about how she missed her bus to a soccer game. Is she ignoring me? The thing that really gets me is that she never actually stops to talk to me but she still looks at me. What is going on?

Also, does she probably know that i like her?

  • Does my teacher like me romantically?

I know this is gonna sound weird, but I feel my worst fears are true.

Here's why I think she does: she acts, lets say, differently around me. For example, she'll be fidgety and a bit more silent than usual when I'm around her. Her face all of a sudden becomes serious and attentive when I talk to her (she's normally always smiling with other students) Her pupils also always dilate when she sees me. If she ever passes me outside of class, she'll look down, as if embarrassed. I also have an A in her class (the class is AP US History), so I've given a good impression to her lol. She's also really young (like twenties) and not married. I sit in the front of her class, and have sometimes seen her directly talking to me when lecturing. I once went up to her after class to ask her a question, and oh my god she was so awkward.

I don't have a crush on her; I'm not hallucinating or trying to get her I swear. I just really need to know if she likes me that way?

  • Will I ever find the right person?

First of all, I am not trying to arouse sympathy from people; I am sad, yes - but I didn't come here to cry my heart out. (that would be stupid and pathetic)

I am sixteen and simply convinced that there won't ever be a girl for me because I feel that finding anyone who will ever understand me or be compatible with me is futile. All the girls who have ever liked me, I rejected. All the girls whom I have ever liked, they rejected me. I am lonely.

SO HERE'S THE QUESTION: Is it true that there is always someone for you? Should I assume that I will meet that special person in the future? Will things get better or is this it?

  • I'm gonna miss this girl over winter break?

I am just beginning to talk to her, and I've seen her looking at me a few times; however, we only have one day of school left. Will she forget about me over break? How can I make her think of me over Christmas break?

  • How to talk to this girl?

I find it challenging to talk to her; however when I do see her, I always say hi, and then she always smiles and waves to me - then keeps walking. For example, today, I was walking out of my class and saw her standing and looking at me. Then, when I say hi to her, she waves, smiles, and then walks away from me. What should I do?

  • Can someone help me with heart broken?

I am depressed from a romantic pursuit: there is this girl that I have liked for a few months. I never talked to her till a month ago, when I thought that she had a crush on me. However, I DID see her at some point looking at me like she was interested. Now that I am talking to her, she seems to avoid me and I can hardly talk to her. As a result, I feel very alone (not to mention sad). I also feel like I still have a chance with her, even though part of me says that I have screwed up really badly. She is very shy, and I do not know what to do. The fact that Christmas is soon here is also making me sad. Thank you for reading all of this.

  • Can someone please help me with my heartache?

If you choose to read this, thank you.

Before I begin, it is important to note that I am sixteen.

First of all, I am not gonna lie, I have issues. My mom and I both have a severe case of OCD and other weird stuff like restless legs syndrome. However these issues weren't anywhere near as bad as they are now.
