How do I connect my Dell laptop to the internet?

I just got my new Dell laptop, and I've been trying to use the Store, but it keeps telling me to connect to the internet. How do I do that?

Update:

Yes, I have one and it's connected. I can get on the internet just fine, but when I click on the Store, it keeps telling me I need to connect to the internet

    Go under setting then find wifi. The. Connect to your router
