Is it safe to drink pure food coloring?

For reasons I don't care to disclose, I need to drink about 8 ounces of pure blue food coloring in the near future. Is this safe?

    No. That is why it is coloring.

    Food coloring is safe- it is intended to color food which is meant to be eaten.

    it would be different strokes for different strokes but i sure wouldn't i know you got your own reasons for consuming it i thought about it used in food but not so much anymore so i don't think it would think it being my cup of tea so think before consuming
