I am going abroad to Cyprus. Can I still watch BBC iPlayer?
I live in England & watch BBC iPlayer & listen to radio most days on my tablet. I have got a job in Cyprus next year. If I take my tablet, will I still be able to watch & listen to these stations as I think some of them are blocked there...

you will need to use a proxy server
that is in the UK..
expat shield is good,
all you will need is the free version of the connector.
go to > http://www.expatshield.com/
But it will not work with windows 8.
only for XP, Vista or windows 7

Most proxy server solutions won't actually work as whilst they hide where you are, you will then find the iplayer site thinks your machine has javascript turned off even when it's on. A UK VPN and only a UK VPN (Not a USA one, not a French one etc) will work. Find out more about the problem and the solution at http://televisionplayers.com/

As long as you have a connection to the internet then you can still visit the BBC website and watch iPlayer.
