Can you get pulled over for....?

Can you get pulled over for no front license plate in California? Mine just fell off when I was on the freeway today and I need to know if is ok to leave it since I have one in the back anyways or do I need to go get one.? Thank you:)

    Yes, California requires front and back license plates. That's why they give you two. You will get pulled over if you don't replace it.

    yes, you can get pulled over for no front license plate in CA. CA requires two license plates.

    Do report the plate you have lost as lost and get down to the MVD to replace it as soon as you can.

    Make a police report on the lost plate and then go to nearest dmv and replace the plate and mean while have them issue you a paper one for the front wind shield.

    Call the police and report it as lost - you don't want to be liable for any crime someone might commit after they find and attach your lost plate to their getaway car.

    Unless it is found, you will need to get new plates. You seriously don't want that registration if there is another plate floating around, just in case it is used in the commission of a crime.

    Better yet, go to the nearest police station and make the report - and ask for a timestamped copy..
