Can I still max out my research of the Big Sister after killing two or three before getting the camera?
Hey gamers and Bioshock fans:
I recently started playing Bioshock 2. Since I already passed the very first Bioshock and got all the trophies including the Platinum one, I decided to start Bioshock 2 on HARD mode. Now, I want to get the maximum research on the big sister as possible, but I already killed the first big sister on Ryan Amusements, and the big sisters on Pauper's Drop. Now for the big sisters on Pauper's Drop I decides to go ahead and kill them before I found the film camera. I want to know will I there be enough Big sister further in the game where I can fully research them all? I hope I don't have to re-play the game over (even though it's a fantastic game) just because I missed that max research trophy. Also any recommendations on how to get the maximum research points for a big sister, and also for the brute splicer? Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Benny

After Pauper's Drop, you still have plenty of chances to film Brute Splicers, and at least 5 chance to film Big Sisters. And just in case you didn't know, Thuggish Splicers do NOT appear after Pauper's Drop, so be sure to max out your research on them while you can.
Now then, tips. For Big Sisters, the key is to do a full level of research for each Big Sis you encounter. If you kill them without doing so, I recommend reloading your save (you should definitely make saves right before you deal with your last Little Sister for each level) and trying again until you do it.
Now, in order to max them out, the key is exactly what Sinclair told you when you first got the research camera: "Plasmids, firearms, whatever you can dish out." Get 'em on camera, then start hitting them with EVERYTHING you have. Fire a few rounds of the Rivet gun, then switch to Machine Gun, and so forth. Be sure to use the heavy ammo too, Phosphorous Buck, Armor Piercing Rounds, Heavy Rivets, whatever you got.
Use all your plasmids as well. Furthermore, having security bots, turrets, and cameras can help a lot, especially if you hit the Big Sis with Security Command first (and don't forget Telekinesis and gas canisters!). Your traps, such as Trap Rivets, Auto-Turrets, and Trap Spears help with research as well, especially around water puddles or oil spills.
Finally, last but not least, don't forget your Gene Tonics! Tonics such as Extended Reel and Keen Observer can extend your research time and allow you to progress faster at research. Everything above hold true for the Brutes as well, although you don't need to worry about filling a level with every Brute.
All in all, always have your Camera at the ready, utilize your environment, and just research smarter, not harder. Hope this will help. Cheers.

You'll have plenty of chances to fight the Brutes and Big Sister's in BioShock 2. There will be a few moments within the game where you'll actually fight 2-3 head on, these are the perfect opportunities to rack up some points.
The same bonuses still apply to the camera, get them while in action, have multiple targets, etc.
When I played, I usually just took 2-3 pictures within 10 seconds then killed the enemy. Worked out fine and I got both trophies within both games.
