Are we are own proof Aliens exist?

We are proof that intelligent life exists in the universe -- there is no proof that any other intelligent life exists .

No, we are not proof of alien life of existing. But the closest we can get to telling if there is proof of life is by looking into other galaxies and solar systems in those galaxies. Earth is the needle in the middle of a hay stack. We are truly a one of a kind. The reason we are here today is because we are in the goldilock zone of our solar system, the habitable zone, this is what makes life possible on planets. The habitable zone is the zone that's not too close to the sun, nor too far where the temperature is just right for the planet to sustain life. There is said to be planets just like earth, too bad these planets are several millions light years away. But there are more than 300 billion planets out in the universe. And more are getting created everyday by supernovas. So if you're asking humans are proof of intellectual alien beings, no. We are though proof of life being possible on other planets.

Whether or not we're proof that intelligent life exists is debatable as it surmises that we would be considered intelligent which given our actions would be questionable. However, our existence is proof that life could exist and however slight that probability may be, with the vastness of space and the number of possible habitable planets, it would be enough to virtually guarantee that life exists elsewhere. Of course the probability is at least slight enough that we have yet to find life elsewhere in our solar system there, the very same vastness of space virtually guarantees that other "intelligent" life have never visited Earth and likely don't even know of our existence.

That Earth supported life long enough to establish intelligent life as advanced as human form stretches the boundaries of probability. That two intelligent life forms of such form co-exist at the same time is seriously improbable, add in more improbability with one contacting another!

Our existence only proves that intelligent life can exist! When you look at Earth's long history Life by it's proof should be common (including bacteria) and evidence of past bacteria could be found else were in our solar system. That other moons are stable long enough to allow life forms up to bacteria is questionable?

We are proof that intelligent life exists in the universe. But we are not proof that OTHER intelligent ALSO exists in the universe. To say that we are is to extrapolate a trend from one fact, which yields zero information.

In the Drake Equation, there is a factor called, Fi, which is: the chances that a form of extraterrestrial life develops an intelligence similar to ours. The factor is set, arbitrarily to one percent.

I have always viewed it with a question: define intelligence?

For all we know, there might be many different forms of life out there that simply doesn't have an interest in coming in contact with anything else. On earth, dolphins are very intelligent. If humans were extinct do you think that dolphins will try travel in space?

I think that the Fermi's paradox that says that if there are so many planets and chances to find intelligent life, why hasn't any of those tried to contact us, has a good point: Perhaps our understanding of intelligence is unique ... but not life itself.

Good question! I have given thought on this question myself to.

The answer is maybe as of right now. Although I feel strongly of alien life being out there, we won't know for sure if we find them. Or they find us! (Them finding us would be the fastest way to know)

Like say we found groundbreaking evidence of ancient simple lifeforms on Mars and actual living lifeforms Europa! In this hypothetical situation, we could say, "Well there is most definitely life on Earth & now we found evidence of lifeforms that lived on Mars a long time ago. And we found actual living alien aquatic creatures under Europa's ice sheets. So I guess we can assume more confidently assume that there is life in extra-solar planets!" And then once we would find more advanced alien life, Then you will be right.

But, IMO we are proof that there is other lifeforms somewhere in space. From all that we have learned about our origins and different theories of how life got here on Earth, the same situation is very likely to happen on another Earth like planet.

In summary, We may be proof. Not until we find more solid evidence on extraterrestrial and extra-solar worlds.

Universe is a place for life,it will happen anywhere where it can.Which means if its not too hot or too cold.

Evolution is one of the process of the Universe.Every simple life form have a chance to become advanced being from very advanced civilization.

There are incredible large number of perfect planets for life,like our Earth.Those planets are a little big bigger or a little big smaller than Earth and have similiar and not very different climate.

THERE ARE AROUND BILLIONS OF THESE PLANETS IN OUR GALAXY!

We understand that life get more advanced with evolution.

YES,WE ARE PROOF THAT OTHER CIVILIZATIONS EXIST!WE LIVE IN THE UNIVERSE,WE ARE THE UNIVERSE!THAT MEANS THAT SIMILIAR THINGS ARE ON OTHER PLANETS.

Now,very small percent on perfect planets are civilizations.Mostly there are just animals.For simple life to evolve into civilization,it needs a long long time and a lot of luck.

Considering billions of planets and considering the mighty power of evolution we can be 100% that there are other civilizations in every galaxy.How many,we cant know,but we can estimate.The lowest number possible will be between 50-100.The highest number possible,around 10 000 000.Realistic number should be between 1000 and 250 000 civilizations.Some are primitive,some are advanced.

Some solar systems were made earlier than another.So,when dinosaurs were living on Earth 350 millions of years ago,there were allready hundreds and even thousands of civilizations in galaxy.Many of them died,and some got so advanced that who knows where are they now and of kind of incredible tehnology they have.

Now,there is one big factor when talking how many civilizations are there.THAT BIG FACTOR ARE OTHER ADVANCED ALIENS WHO HELP LIFE TO EVOLVE INTO INTELLIGENT BEINGS,LIKE WE ARE.JUST ONE ADVANCED HELPING CIVILIZATIONS CAN GIVE BIRTH TO HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF CIVILIZATIONS IN GALAXY.

So,there is a possibility that intelligent civilizations are incredibly rare and that there are only few civilizations in every galaxy.And one of that civilizations which got very advanced can set intelligent life in many many planets in galaxy.

And,there is a possiblity that intelligent civilizations is not extremely rare at all and that there are thousands and thousands of them in every galaxy.

In both cases there are intelligent civilizations.We are the Universe,we are made from star dust.Our alien brothers are also made from star dust and they exist and have many question like we do.Universe is a giant living organism,and it will express itself in a form of consciousness.We are not that special,we are just a little but important part of this incredible large Universe with trillions and trillions of civilizations.

We are proof that there is a good chance that life as we know it exist somewhere else. With billions of galaxies with suns there is more than a possibility of intelligent life or form of life.

Not particularly. Secondly, look around. Are we REALLY all that intelligent? Look at some of the questions in here. It's rather vain for humans to think they're all that smart. From what I've seen in my 61 years on this planet, about only 20% of the human race is somewhat intelligent and at the current rate in failure of education, that number is sure to drop. Take the science category for instance. My generation created the computer so our children had a valuable learning tool. What happened? They use it for nothing but gaming, social networking, and asking someone else to do their homework. So much for a valuable learning tool. When I was young, we walked a mile in the snow to the local library for homework help. Guess what? We ENJOYED it! Now our children are to lazy to move their fingers across a keyboard to find answers to their homework.
