First time buying tall boots - need OPINIONS!!?

Ariat easily. They are one of the most popular brands and Ariat is really good quality. I find them pleasing and sturdy, yet comfortable. Try Dover Saddlery and Smartpack for more options. PLus, if u buy from Smartpack and the boots don't fit... you can send them back fro FREE unlike Ebay and even Dover where u have to pay money for the postage. Smartpack is also free shipping :) Goodluck and I would go for the Ariat.

I've never ever heard of the brand Der Dau's, but then again I am still new to all this huntseat stuff!

I've always owned Ariats and have liked them more then any other tall boot.

So, of course I would go with the Ariats since they look more better in shape and are still look new! Up to you though.

There both good boots! There both in good condition but the Ariats are a little cheaper. I have NEVER heard of the Der Dau's brand but if you are familiar with them then they would work just fine. They are a pair of beautiful boots! I have heard good things about the Ariat tall boots so it really just depends. The Ariats might be in a little better shape but both would work! Good luck!

DO NOT get ariat tall boots! They suck! I've had a couple pairs and they all broke.

I love Der Dau, good reputation. However, don't limit yourself to ebay. Try Dover Saddlery, my favorite online tack store. If you're price range isn't large, I'd recommend Middleburg tall boots. They're only $200-$300 I believe. I bought them so long ago I can't remember haha
