Do you think there will be more Harry Potter books?
I've finished all of them recently. It's such a good series! But do you think there will be more, or if JK Rowling is considering it? Thanks

Some of these answers are very rude.. you were only asking a simple question.
The answer, however is no. Harry's story is done, but there's a possibility of her writing some more in the same world. She's writing the movie for a spin-off series so those may be written as books, you never know.

No, I don't think so.
But the good news is, there will be more Harry Potter movies! Yep, the movies will be based off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and acvording to sources, it will be 'the beginning of a series'. Isn't that great?
P.S. in case you didn't know, there are three other books written by JK Rowling that are connected to the HP Universe. Those are: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Enjoy!

No, and it is highly doubtful there will be. The seven are perfect together and adding another one would only be to appease fans. But I'm a huge HP fan and have been for more than ten years. I don't want an eighth book because everything was tied up so beautifully.
If you haven't read them already try the spin off books written by J.K.Rowling in which the proceeds went to various charities.
Quidditch Through The Ages
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

Rowling has said Harry's story is done. (He killed the devil - what could he possibly do for an encore?) But she hasn't ruled out the possibility of writing further books set in that world. She's working on a screenplay for a film that features Newt Scamander, the author (within the fictional world) of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, one of the standard texts for students at Hogwarts. It won't be a direct sequel or prequel to the Harry Potter books, as it's set in the 1920s, before most of the characters in those books were born.

JK Rowling has stated that she has no plans to continue the Harry Potter books. She has moved on from the series.

I'm sorry but this has got to be the most annoying question ever. Believe it or not, you aren't the only desperate fan who has asked this question.
Harry Potter already consists of WAY TOO MANY books as it is. The series could have easily been written in three books. Nothing really important happens between book two and book six. Now that the entire plot has been resolved, do you really think the author is going to try and milk it any more than she already has?

No, but I recommend G. Norman Lippert's continuation, following James and Albus at Hogwarts, freely available online. They are brilliant books that respect the originals while adding to the world.
