What is the recommended ratio of male to female fish I can put in a tank?

I have 5 male guppies and 6 female guppies. 2 males died a while ago, but before that they have been trying to mate a lot with my females that are all pregnant. So the males have been pretty distressed and the females harassed.

There is no exact prescribed ratio, but it's better to have more females, as each male will try to mate with as many females as it can. Guppy Fish Care recommends a female/male ratio of at least 2:1 stop female harssment.
