Yes Adam (AS) was the first man. Evolution of animals doesn't contradict the Qur'an. When we are talking about humans Allah swt says he created us from clay. He honored humans. The example I always use is Jesus (AS). Jesus (AS) was born miraculously with no father. Yet, if Jesus (AS) was here today, and scientists were to run tests on him. It would look as though he was just a human born from a mother and father.
Similarly, Adam (AS) coming into existence was miraculous, and from the empirical data scientist have they interpret that we were also a part of evolution because science doesn't believe in miracles. Miracles are things that break the laws of the universe. Such as Isa (AS) being born with no father.
As for bipedal ape-like creatures. No where in the Qur'an does it say that smart creatures that were human-like didn't live.

I think that you will find that no religion other than the abrahamic religions say that.
Reality never provides the simple minded ease of religion. In reality, evolution does not provide a clear demarcation between man and hominid. You start with a very apelike creature and through time they get more and more human. To pick one and say that was the first man, is not possible.
Consider the horse and the donkey. They are so closely related that they can impregnate each other, but the results are sterile. They are splitting, but are just on the edge.

The Adam story is nothing but an ancient myth - a fairy tale. Not liking the fact that we evolved -and had a common ancestor with monkeys - will not change the fact that we did.
Oh, and only the 3 major abrahamic belief systems of Middle Eastern origin from the Bronze ages make the claim, that this Adam character was the first human.

"All religions say that Hazrat Adam (A.S) was the first man on earth"
No, they do not.

What is "Hazrat"?

"but historians have found bones
of apes was he an ape"
Just because "historians" have found bones, does not mean that they were Adam's bones.
No, Adam was not an ape.

Prisca theologia my friend. Not all religions just the abrahamic ones. I believe there may have been an Adam, but we have such minimal evidence merely because it was thousands maybe tens of thousands of years ago, nobody can know for sure how far along the evolutionary chart he was.

Nope he was not , but the human structure have changed during the time
the human evolved him self but didn't evolved from another creature
still , evolution is not a fact it's a theory and can't be proven until you tell me the history of the
first cell on earth and how it was created and evolved , then i can lean to listen to evolutionists

All religions don't say that. Out of the tens of thousands of religions that have existed, only 3 say he was the first man. The other 99.99% of religions don't mention him.
