What would be the best day to go shopping in London this week to avoid the boxing day sales rush?

    The day the schools go back which, I believe is around the 3rd January. Until then, lots of people will be on holiday from school and work and the streets will be full. If it has to be this week, go early when the shops are just opening. You have a better chance of finding things.
