How can you know a graphic-card is compatible with your pc or not?

the NVIDIA® Quadro® K4000 is a single slot width graphics card and 241.3mm in depth ( that's around 9.5 inches ...that means it will fit in almost any case barring small form factor and mini itx form factor cases

in terms of power you will need a 6pin pci-express power connector although the K4000 only uses 80w at load ... so you could even use a single molex to 6pin ( instead of the normal 2 x molex to 6pin adapter) however if your psu has a dedicated 6pin connector then this would be preferred

most standard dell pc,s have adequate space inside to accommodate the K4000 but it may be worth opening the case and measuring the distance between the back of the pc and the hard drive bays .... if this is 10" or larger then you will be fine ... however you can move your hard drive down a bay to free up some space

so in summary :

1) your power supply should be 350w or higher with at least 1 x 6pin pci-e connector ( adapter can be used )

2) there should be a 10" space between the rear of the pc case and the closest hard drive bay

3) at least 1 x 92mm/120mm fan for exhaust of warm air ... this is optional however a exhaust fan would be better

If your PC is a desktop PC then it will probably fit. You may need to open up your PC before hand to check if has enough slots. The slot you are looking for would be PCI 2.0 or PCI-E slot, if you have a spare one it should be fine. You may also need to look at the power usage and how big you PSU is.
