How To Start Mining Peercoins?

Hi. I am 13 1/2 and would like to learn how to mine Peercoins and other currencies, such as Litecoins. I want to stay away from Bitcoin though. I can buy about $80 worth of ASIC miners, and I know how they work and what the hash rates mean. I also have a MacBook from 2011 which is almost useless for mining, but i would connect the chips to it. Will someone please tell me how tostart mining and about how to set up pools? I would like advice specific to Peercoins, please.

Thanks,

Random Person

Update:

@ericbelec Great answer, but i decided to not mine

I don't know much about cloud mining.

What you have do is buy the best video card you can for hashing and slap it into a used Mid Tower system with a pci-e slot. For about 200$ you can buy a used system with a 7850 or better and card. (This way you're in total control).

Start mining litecoin. it's slow but you will make about $2 a day. Learn how to play the market (buy and sell).

You can use exchanges such as Vircurex. Play it like it was a game, that's really what it is in theory.

You can also mine high risk coins such as DOGE. Just make sure to sell when it hits a high. Keep an excel spreadsheet that you update daily. Also others such as WDC and FTC which are easy to mine and easy to sell. Again make sure you sell when they are up.

Also buy BTC when it's low. Right now it's in the 700$'s. Buy when people freak out and sell. Prices drop into the 500's and 600's. It normally spikes right back up to the 700's within hours or sometimes a day or two. Then sell and buy litecoin, if litecoin is below 20$ and so on. Just remember that they will charge X on each trade, so you have to make sure you end up on top.

    Good luck and happy mining.
