Make up for a 16 year old girl?

So, I'm 16, 17 in less than a month, and I don't wear make-up. I'm a bit of a tomboy. To school, I wear t-shirts and jeans with tennis shoes (I have these awesome sketchers that are black and then have super colorful bottoms. They're pretty cool) Anyway, so I was in this musical in November and we were talking and I made a joke that I should totally show up to school one day flipping hot. I should do my hair (which usually chills out messy, lucky to have been brushed that morning) and make-up, and actually wear cute clothes. All the girls would talk about how nice of a body I have because I am skinny and have curves all in the right places. Everybody thought that this was a great idea and said that I should just do it one day, right after Christmas break, and then go back to normal. The problem is, what do I do?

I have a decent outfit picked out. i think I'll stick with jeans. I have this cute pair that fits just right. Then I'll wear a nice blue top that I have. Anyway, I don't know what to do for make-up or hair... At all. I have incredibly thick, blonde, hair that has potential but it sucks to do anything with it because it is so flipping thick. It just keeps going and going and going. Not to mention, I've never ran a curling iron or straightener before. Not to mention, make-up. I have no idea what to do with that. Any tips?

Update:

Yes, because I drink testosterone. *eyeroll*

It's just genetics. My mom has/had extremely thick hair too, thought it's thinned out some now that she's older.

Update 2:

Would it look ridiculous just to have eyeliner and eye shadow?

I'm 16 too. I'm more of a girl, but I'll tell you what I do for my hair and makeup everyday. It's easy because I'm lazy and I always get up late.

For my makeup I do my foundation first. If you have good skin you don't have to but I do. I use Loreal Tru Match. After that I do a really light eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes because I have small eyes and it makes them look bigger. I use it as a base for my eyeliner too, so I think you might want to do that. I have Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo Metal in Barely Branded and I like that.

After that I use liquid eyeliner, whatever I have... but I wouldn't start with liquid eyeliner. Try kohl or maybe felt tip. I do a really simple cat eye. Then I use mascara.

I don't usually do lips. All this takes like 10 min btw :)

For clothes I shop at Forever21 ALL the time cuz you can't go wrong. I have SUPER curly thick hair but I just straighten it everyday and do a braid or a high ponytail or leave it down.

Hope that gets you started! Good luck!

Source(s): But you might want to ditch the Sketchers for Vans or Converse or something else. I have Vans with really colorful bottoms and colored seams.

Keep it simple, perhaps a light powder, mascara, and a balm. You could also add eyeliner and a light shadow to make your eyes look fresh and awake. Wear your hair down, perhaps wash and plait it the night before for soft waves, you could twirl a little bit at the front and pin it with a pretty clip so you can show your beautiful face. Have fun! c:

Depends on the state. In some states, sex with a 14 year old girl is illegal under all conditions, but it is not considered statutory rape, but something else. One thing is certain though - in EVERY state it is dangerous and ill-advised for a 14 year old to have sex. You aren't prepared for the consequences - getting pregnant, getting an STD, having your self-esteem crushed by thinking your whole identity comes from that space between your legs.

I would go for some light mascara to darken your eyelashes, concealer and powder to make you have a flawless face, some blush to add some color to your cheeks, a neutral shadow cause you don't want to over do it and a lip balm.

Nothing crazy cause you are still I'm high school and you don't wanna look like a cake face

Well seeing as you're new to makeup, keep it quite simple. You can start to wear more makeup as you get more confident with it. You could buy a lightpink coloured lipgloss, and some mascara. Instead of going straight into foundation, because you'll need to get some brushes and setting powder and yeah...might as well just keep it simple with a bb cream which you can apply with your hands (make sure they're clean though you don't want to spread bacteria) and I don't think you need to bother with eyeshadows and stuff like that yet :) hope that helped

You could wear eyeliner, maybe lipgloss or lipstick in a pink or red, mascara, blush on your cheeks if you want to "go all out" also straighten your hair or put it in a top knot.

I would reccomend looking up make up tutorials on youtube. My favorite makeup artist is Lisa Eldrige, if you look at her videos shes got a variety of different looks to try. As for your hair, i think you should curl it loosely.

Drink less testosterone. That probably made it so thick
