Upcoming trip -- Do you know the seat belt laws in Aruba?

My family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) will be traveling to Aruba soon.

Rental cars seem to max-out at 5 seats, presumably 2 front and 3 rear.

Assuming we provided the front seat occupants and the 2 kids with seat belts, would there be a problem with having 1-2 unrestrained adults in the back seat?

I don't know about Aruba, but most Caribbean islands I have been to , the traffic laws are sadly more like "guide lines" rather than rules or laws.

Source(s): Our bus was almost hit "head on" by a wrong way driver on a one way road in Jamaca, our bus drive when "off road" a little bit to avod a deadly collision. Island road travel is a tad scarey IMHO.
