no internet connection after installing printer?
I just connected a new printer and installed the software for it. It is a Canon Pixma MG3222 First, we had disconnected everything (power cord, ethernet, etc.) from the computer to dust and I am certain everything has been plugged back in correctly....but I don't know disconnecting the ethernet cable, cleaning, and connecting it again created a problem.
Anyway, we have the printer hooked up via usb. We installed the software for it and now there is no internet connection on the computer it is hooked up to. The wireless connection on my laptop.
Any suggestions on what is wrong and what to do? Thanks!

Don't reformat your PC like Ryan suggested. Can you give more details about your computer? What you've given is somewhat confusing. You mentioned "The wireless connection on my laptop." How is your wireless involved? Is the computer you hooked the printer to another printer or your wireless laptop? How is your computer connected to the internet? Through the ethernet cable you mentioned to a cable modem or router or how?

The printer probably corrupted your drivers. This has happened to me before when I installed a deskstop mic via USB. You'll have to reformat your pc.
