Fellow atheists do you believe in extra terrestrials?

I personally don't believe in extra terrestrials, ghosts or otherworldly beings.

No, I do not "believe" in them, but I do think it is quite probable given the vastness of space and the number of stars with planets that they do exist somewhere out there. I am also nearly 100% certain that given the vastness of space, we will never encounter them, in the foreseeable future. And no, there is no evidence that they have ever visited us in the past. Why do you wish peace and free will if you use the name "Floax, The Atheist Hater" as your avatar?

No I do not believe that, because there is no credible evidence to support such an idea.

However, I am open to actual proof...that proof not being blurry photos, but something like a laser-blaster that shoots through mountain tops, for instance.

I guess you could say I'm an agnostic on the subject. I don't think there's enough evidence to logically say there is or isn't, however if I had to pick a side I'd say there probably is life out there somewhere. Just not life how we see it, considering it would have evolved in 100% different conditions.

The evidence for the possibility of extra-terrestrial life is extremely strong. Apart from the number of known exo-planets, in our own solar system, two of Jupiter's Moons, Io and Europa have got to be prime candidates for life.

Yes, but I find it hard to believe any visited here, even though the show "Ancient Aliens" has some plausible theories about visits in ancient times. My problem: why did they come here and apparently help some societies and then leave? Why would they go to all that trouble?

No we have not be visited....but yes I do believe there are most probably other life forms in the Universe, because of the simple math.

Its not a matter of 'believe' or 'disbelieve', if you find one show me otherwise its a non-issue.
