My dogs tail is crooked?
My sister stepped on our German Shepherd's tail not too long ago, and its been crooked ever since. Its not really noticeable when you look at it, even from up close, but when you touch it you can feel it. Its crooked around the middle. He's been wagging his tail fine as if there's no problem, and he can lift his tail when going potty, but sometimes, when he sits down, he yelps loudly like he's in pain. Not sure if its just because of the pain or because he whines a lot (he whines loudly all the time, since way back before his tail was crooked) and he only yelps ever once in a while. We cant go to the vet since there isn't one nearby and my parents are really busy.
Is he alright?
He's roughly ten weeks old, if that helps.

No he's not alright, he seriously injured his tail and because of your negligence he may lose it.

My dog got hit by a car right in her rump once. She was bruised up pretty bad though, and she yelped every time she pooped for a week. Her tail normally sticks straight out backwards, but for a month it sagged really low. I figured that it was going to be permanent, but after a month, it got better. Dogs are amazing, and even if the tail ends out permanently crooked, your dog will still remain to be your best friend.

what the hell!!! your obviously eventually going to need to go to the vet. hes 10 weeks old, so he needs some monthly shots.
DONT BE DUMB, TELL YOUR PARENTS TO MAKE A WAY TO TAKE HIM TO VET.
the vet being too far away is the dumbest thing i have ever heard, what if your dog broke a leg, and in this case it sounds like he broke his tail.

No matter how far the vet is away, if you care about your dog, take him there. It sounds like his tale is broken, and if it is it may cause other problems and eventually he may not to go to the bathroom or lay down. Take him to a vet as soon as you can.

It may be broken. I would take him to the vet. He needs to go to the vet for shots anyway.
