The hardest part is wrapping your head around the Army way of doing things. If you are in reasonable shape, they will get you to where you need to be. Again........The BIGGEST challenge to you will be your mindset!

this isn't the kind of answer you are looking for. but, as a veteran of the armed forces i know what i am talking about, regardless. don't worry too much about prepping your body, they will take care f that for you.
prep your MIND. sure they'll take care of that too. in fact, they will do such a good and fast job of it that it will change you quite lastingly. they put a lot of work into that. what they put absolutely no work into at all is undoing all of it, so to speak, when you get out of the military. SO, prep your mind for taking careful note of exactly how they do it in basic, so that you can put yourself through a similar REprogramming back to your nonmilitary self when you get out.
