Ballet summer intensive video audition help?

For one of the summer intensives I'm auditioning for this year, I have to submit a video audition. I've never done one before and I have no idea what to do. There is a list of certain steps and such but I don't know what to do with it. Do you put an entire exercise at the barre in the video or only part? Do they want to see both sides? When you edit the video all together, do you keep the class music in the background or edit some other music overtop? Is there anything else you should include in the video? If someone could give me any tips on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what I'm doing!!! Help!

My daughter did a video audition only once . She included only what they asked for. You don't need to do a whole bunch of repetitions but enough to represent how you do things. She did only one side at the barre and used the teacher's voice calling for the steps along with live piano accompaniment. I suppose you could do both sides but just do less total not endlessly.

It really doesn't matter about what music or no music or even how well the video is edited. They will be looking at you and how well you dance so make sure it is all full body shots. Of course presentation counts but not nearly as much as content.
