Professional driving license for exotic cars?
I have heard that it is possible to get a professional driving license. Not one that certifies you to drive dump trucks or garbage trucks, rather ones that you earn through experience driving exotics I.E. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc. I am not sure they truth behind this however it is something that has always intrigued me. If anyone has heard of such a thing I would love to know more about it.

there are various license types out there. as you've already mentioned there are licenses for trucks and buses but there are also stunt driving and racing licenses. stunt driving licenses teach you about car maneuvers like J turns, drifting, burnouts, donuts and other stunts that you would see in a movie, commercial or tv show.
racing licenses are those required to compete in any level of motorsports. from small events at your local track to Formula 1, there are varying license types and they require knowledge of how to drive on a track in a predictable and smooth fashion, how to get the best lap times and how to respond to different situations. these licenses also cover rules for whatever level of motorsport you are in.
racing licenses arent gotten through driving exotics. they are started in a basic rear wheel drive, manual transmission car to teach you the basics of car control including how to control slides with throttle or brake inputs combined with steering. a basic racing license to compete in events costs around $10,000 additional license levels for professional racing above that have additional costs and usually require that you have racing experience of some kind.
eventually, racing licenses will require experience in actual race cars including formula cars.
most racetracks will have a racing school present to teach you how to drive quickly. I only know of 1 place that will teach you how to drive your own car which could be an exotic.
Simraceway is a racing simulation game that also has a performance driving center at Sonoma Racetrack in California. they have classes for Formula 3 cars, Stock cars, karting, regular racing licenses, and a program where they teach you the mechanics of driving your own car quickly.

keep in mind that this program does not give out any license at the end, just more experience with your car.
