domestic abuse..am i scarred for life...?
Ok so I hate to admit it, but I was abused in three different relationships..all which are over..I was physically, mentally, verbally, emotionally, and psychologically tormented.. will I ever recover? Please any of you who have dealt with this... Help.. Ty ramona

I never had to deal with the issues you did, but I want you to do this: Spend a long time by yourself and alone. Even if you have a pet fish or bird, learn to love yourself first and do for yourself before you give your heart to another. It takes time to heal and the right people to be around, but for now, focus on you.

Hon. You were damaged before you entered these relationships.
1. Most that are not damaged would never stay after the first sign of abuse.
2. You're attracted to abusers.
