how do i bring my mom to the united states?
so I'm adopted and i'm a US citizen but my biological mother lives in Ethiopia and doesn't have much income and I'm really worried that when she gets older there will be no one there to take care of her. I want her to come to the U.S. so that she'd be under my care. I'm not in a stable situation where i can actually bring her to U.S. right now but definitely in the future and i want to know if its possible and what choices i have. I don't know much about these things so excuse me if my question is too broad or unclear.

When your family allowed you to be adopted by an American couple so you could have a better life, their decision severed the legal tie between the adopted child and the natal family. You cannot help your family in Ethiopia immigrate. You can send them whatever money you can spare. A few bucks a month will go a long way there.

Adoption severs the tie to the biological parents. As far as the US government is concerned, your parents are your father and your, the two people who adopted you at a time when your biological parents who apparently were in no position to take care of you and thus decided to give you up.

Not possible. When you were adopted, she was legally no longer your mother. She is not your mother in the eyes of immigration so there is nothing you can do to bring her to the US.
When she gets older, then you can hire someone to take care of her there and send her money.

Adoption legally severs all ties to the biological parents. So she's not legally your mother, and there is no way to bring her to the US.
If you want to help support her, earn enough to send her some money toward her living expenses in her own country.

You can not petition for any biological relative. The adoption severs all legal ties with your biological parents and siblings.

As far as I know, you could only have her apply to become a U.S citizen and have her enter that way. Bad news, it'll be tough for her and require some studying of the government and how it works. Good news, if you're a high school student, you should know most of the answers to the questions the citizenship test will ask, so you can always help her out.

Your legal mother is already in the US. There is no need to bring her. You have no legal relationship with this other person. You can not bring her to the US.

all ties to your real mother were terminated at adoption ...she is no longer a relative that you can file for...
