Do some people stop learning past a certain age?
I've noticed that some people I've come across in my life are so stubborn they'll do things their way even though I tried to teach them a better or simpler method. Same goes for patience, many go through their whole life and never even heard of that word, constantly impatient.

Some do, yes. But if they do, likely they did not have the desire to learn in the first place. People are different in many ways. We need to learn to love them regardless.
Have a polite day.
Etiquette takes over where laws end.

I think people can be stubborn no matter what age they are. They will do something their own way until it doesnt work. Then, some people still do it the same way over and over. When each person is ready, they will try a different way, but it has to happen when THEY are ready (this could mean anything; new boyfriend, cant figure out a puzzle, dont know how to ride a bike, etc) Many people wont learn something knew unless it is interesting to them on some level. To each their own. Try and help people the best you cna and give them information and knowledge you have and the rest is up to them

Maybe you think your being helpful, but your technique in teaching isn't the correct way of teaching so that they can have the patience to try and learn something new. Maybe your not showing patience when trying to teach. I'm a middle age woman and love learning something new everyday. I also know that it takes a good teacher or information, for me to learn it. So, NO I do not believe some stop learning. You know, you could also learn very helpful things from the elderly

No, but many younger people have a problem with arrogantly believing that they know better and that they're superior to everyone else
