Cape Yorke is the big pointy peninsula in NE Australia, what is the name of the big 'flat-topped' peninsula on which is Arnhem land? The Cobourg Peninsula is a small peninsula on it's NW corner, the Gove Peninsula is a small peninsula on its NE corner.

The Gove Peninsula (12°17′S 136°49′E) is at the northeastern corner of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia. The peninsula became strategically important during World War II when a Royal Australian Air Force base was constructed at what is now Gove Airport. The peninsula was named after Pilot Officer William Gove, who was killed in action in 1943.
