Which Olympic snub was worse?

Bobby Ryan not making team USA or Claude Giroux not making team Canada?

Neither one is a great snub. Ryan plays right wing. Patrick Kane and Phil Kessel play right wing. The next two right wing players should play on checking or defensive lines. Ryan Callahan and Dustin Brown are those type of players who play on the right side and are factors in the dressing room. Blake Wheeler is a better skater and can kill penalties. So that is why he isn't on the team.

As for Giroux. as a centre would you place him ahead of Crosby Toews, Tavares, Getzlaf or Bergeron? Didn't think so. How about off on the wing? (right side of course) Stamkos and Perry are the first two. not in front of them the next two are Carter and Nash. Both will play a checking roll and will also kill penalties. Also both are bigger and faster on the larger ice surface. Oh yes Nash can play on either side as well versatility

Bobby Ryan was a bigger snub but I can't believe Team Canada picked RICK NASH over guys like Giroux, St. Louis, Hall, Neal, etc. who can play the wing. Unbelievable. Rick Nash...

Bobby Ryan not making team USA. Everyone thought that Ryan was going to make it, no thought about it. Brian Burke says he has no intensity and can't spell intense. But i'm pretty sure he can. He is one of the best hockey players I've ever seen to be honest. I was pretty surprised when they announced Team USA without Bobby Ryan. Let's see if USA does well in Sochi!

Neither of these two in my opinion, Its Seabrook, how do you not take him, 2 time Stanley cup winner, Gold medal winner last olympics, plays with the best team and best defence man in the league and is having a great season, to take a unreliable Hamnius sorry for butchering is name but wow he makes the team because of them wanting 4 right hand and 4 left hand shots, WOW.

I hate to stray from the confines of your question, but Semin excluded from Russia has to be the worst of all. Between those two, I say Giroux.

    Chris Kunitz....
