Hi.
So i have a few questions for you teen moms out there!
Thanks!!
1) Was the baby planned?
2) Were you excited when you found out you were pregnant? Was your partner excited?
3) How painful was birth?
4) How hard is it taking care of a baby?
5) Do you regret having a baby so young. I mean i know you don't regret your baby but do you regret having your baby at a young age? Do you wish you had your baby when you were older?

Oh yay, I love surveys <3
1) Was the baby planned?
Yes, both.
2) Were you excited when you found out you were pregnant? Was your partner excited?
Yes, for both.
3) How painful was birth?
It was more annoying than painful. It felt like having diarrhea, I couldn't sleep, and the heartburn was killing me. I was just uncomfortable for three days straight.
4) How hard is it taking care of a baby?
The hard part in my opinion is just having patience for everything. Patience for the peers that do not understand, for the strangers who judge, for my family who has low expectations of me, for those nights where I have finals and a teething child, and for my daughter's fits. Meditation, yoga, candles, and ambient music are my best friends.
5) Do you regret having a baby so young. I mean i know you don't regret your baby but do you regret having your baby at a young age? Do you wish you had your baby when you were older?
No, I wouldn't change anything, except I would have tried a little harder to change my legal status as a minor. Once I turned eighteen however everything just fell into place and my previous problems were gone. I don't want infants/toddlers when I'm older, I want to adopt older children or teens later on.
Welcome.

I read this really good book for school and I will recommend it to you. It's a memoir (meaning the story is true) It's call "The Pregnancy Project"! It is also a lifetime movie. Although I'm not sure wether it has the same title as the book. You should look it up. It's very inspiring and gives you a interesting perspective on teen pregnancy. It's a little slow movie at first but once you get to the "Part two" section it is fabulous. I love the insight it gave me, considering I'm not a teen mom.
Good luck in finding your answers!
