Is Jesus "The Alpha and Omega?

The First and the Last? The Beginning and the End?

Update:

Rock Badger..... First born comes from the Greek protokos meaning first in importance, not first born in time

Update 2:

Apostle James, Wisdom in Proverbs 8 is an attribute of God, not referring to Jesus. Wisdom, the Greek word Sophia, is feminine. Don't think most people would call Jesus a she.

The Alpha and Omega meaning eternal? Colossians 1:15 says Jesus is "the firstborn of all CREATION".

This is in harmony with Proverbs 8:22 which states "Jehovah/Yahweh PRODUCED me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago." It also goes on to say how Jesus is Gods "master worker". Some misinformed people misread what Proverbs chapter 8 actually says.

God and Jesus being 2 entirely different individuals is how Jesus can say "he was SENT".

Many have been mislead by non-biblical doctrines like "The Trinity" which also goes in conjunction with John 15:20-21 which says

"20 Keep in mind the word I said to you: A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;+ if they have observed my word, they will also observe yours. 21 But they will do all these things against you on account of my name, because they do not know the One who sent me."

"First of importance" of what Ted? Does it not say creation?

and Proverbs chapter 8? Are you for real? I wont even go there because your not serious.

  • Yes he is. You can even find him with his father in Proverbs 8 when God was putting the world together.
