What do you hear? What are the exact words? Did you install a new program or software on your computer before happened? Do you see annoying pop-up windows?

    Hi,

I am Chetan Savade from Symantec Technical Support team.

My personal experience says it may happen with specific sites only, if it's a same case with you then please share the URL's of those website. OR it's happening randomly?

Symantec Power Eraser is the latest Symantec Recovery tool. The tool is aimed at the detection and clean-up of "zero-day" threats as well as other threats which may have infected the user’s system. Zero-day threats are those that take advantage of a newly discovered hole in a program or operating system before the developers have made a fix available – or before they are even aware that a hole exists.

    Download tool: http://www.symantec.com/theme.jsp?themeid=spe-user...

Apart from it, Machine should be with the latest service pack and Windows patches.

Upgrade the browser version to the latest if it's not.

Upgrade third party software to the latest version.

    Regards,

    Chetan Savade

    Since your using Malwarebytes:

    Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Go to Update tab and select Check for Updates. If an update is found, it will download and

    install the latest version.

Go to Scanner tab and select (1)Perform Quick Scan, then click (2)Scan.

The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart

If the First Scan found anything, do another Quick Scan. Quick Scans are designed to look in places that Malware normally hides. The Developers set it up this way. You can always run a Full Scan Later
