Chemical species - help!??

I'm struggling to understand chemical species and I would really appreciate some help with this question:

'Give the name and formulae of all chemical species in Potassium.'

Thank you in advance :)

Potassium is an element. So there is only one species: elemental potassium.

Under certain circumstances it can be a potassium ion, but it's not clear whether that counts as another species or not, especially since it would be wrong to say that a potassium ion is "in" potassium.
