Vocal technique regarding pop female vocalists?
When it comes to pop music best vocalist, we always hear about Aretha, Patti, Barbra, Mariah, Whitney and Beyonce.
I've read a lot about their technique, but can you guys rank them and perhaps give a short summary of their vocal technique AT THEIR PRIME? I'd really appriciate that .
PS: Vocal color is completely irrelevant as I'm only interested in their vocal abilities and technique.

Mariah Carey is an amazing singer that can hit notes only 2 other people even come close to. She has a very large span and can hold her note for a really long time.
Aretha is just a goddess. I'm just going to say for her no one else could compare. She knows her vocal coordination and how to stay on key for a good minute. She has one of the most unique vocals ever, probably the most unique.
Beyonce has very good control and technique but when it comes to her actual voice she's as average as Katy Perry. In fact the only difference is she has better control while dancing. The only reason she is heard of so much mainly stems from her body.
