Is my hypothesis supported?

I did an experiment for my science fair project, and it's about whether electromagnetic fields affect the speed of growth of bean plants. My hypothesis was that if there are electromagnetic fields, the speed of growth would increase. My experiment shows that it does affect the speed of growth but only germination. Does that still count as supporting my hypothesis?

  • I'd say no. I think of "growth" to be after germination. But you can say in your report/on your board that it appears that the electromagnetic fields sped up germination.
