I wouldn't want to see a person be both shy an miserable, because that's the combination for insecurity and social anxiety and a whole bunch of other issues. That in its entirety is in no way attractive, or cool, or anything of the sort. And I don't see why being shy and miserable would in any way enhance your physical appearance; their current state of attractiveness may be the sole reason for their dismal personality. If anything, being a desolate and introverted individual may make you appear sloppy and messy, dirty even, as you may have just given up on trying to impress people or care for yourself anymore.

shy and okay/happy, because a smile is attractive. It makes you want to smile and be happy. :)
