Did you 'season' the pan first? Get it really hot then put a little oil and salt in, swirl it around then take off heat and allow to cool. Wipe out with kitchen paper.

Dry frying is the best answer and to use plastic tools, spatulas etc, but some food cannot be dry fried ie. tomatoes they really mess up the pan so a little oil is needed, as previous wrote, wipe pan whilst warm to clean, then add to your dishwasher(if you're lucky) or your washing-up bowl

We were also disappointed with ours. We found it best not to add any oil...just place the food in the pan "dry"
Then, while the pan is still a bit warm, clean it with a piece of kitchen towel, then you might need to wash it out.

When I've seen them demonstrated, no oil is used. Was going to get some myself but glad I read your post, will stick with my Tefal non stick.

Do you use a lot of metal utensils like forks, metal spatulas or any scrape-y utensils? If so, you could be scratching off the Teflon.
