Did Yahoo recently change My Inbox widget on the My Yahoo frontpage?
It has this box at the the top which would allow me to switch to Google Mail but I intend to never use and is just wasting precious space at the top of the mail list. Also, all my messages are grayed out, hard to read, and look like they aren't available but I can still click on them. When it first appeared I wondered if someone had hacked my frontpage. I can not find an announcement for it.

Hey there,
I assume you're referring to the Yahoo Mail drop-down menu where you can switch mailboxes. This is actually in-line with the "My Mail" header, so even removing this wouldn't necessarily create more space. Unfortunately, it cannot be removed at this time.
However, I'd recommend sharing your concerns on our Suggestion Board for better visibility. Our Product Group scans posts daily for review.
