Can I print label from eBay and use on Priority Flat Rate boxes?

I have a small Flat Rate box and want to ship a sealed video game. Do I have to go to the post office for them to weigh it or can I weigh it myself, pay and print the label myself and adhere it to one side of the box and just leave it at the post office? The option is there on eBay that's why. Do I have to print it from USPS.com or can I do it from eBay? Thanks.

If your using the flat rate box then you do not need to weigh it. You just pay the flat rate. That's the whole idea of flat rate shipping. If it fits in the box you pay the same flat rate no matter how much it weighs. Yes you can just print the label on ebay and leave it at the post office. They usually have a big drop box inside for packages.

If you have a postal scale at home you can use your own packaging and mail the item by weight. This is usually cheaper than using the flat rate boxes.

The whole reason for the Flat rate is so that you do not have to weigh it. You can print the label from eBay or USPS. It's probably easier with eBay because they deduct the cost from the money for your item.
