Who was better? Brady 2001-05 and 10-0 in playoffs, or 2006-13 and 8-7 in playoffs?

Both were excellent players. Super Bowl wins do not determine a player. Brady wasn't going to win every playoff game of his career.

Brady at 10-0 had the clutchness and the motivation, but Brady at 8-7 had the knowledge and the skill. In the playoffs, It's all about wanting those Super Bowls, and Brady at 10-0 got them.

Obviously Brady isn't as good as he used to be.

That being said it's a team sport and a bunch of the playoffs games were a dropped pass away from a win so it's tough to grade him by wins only. I can't remember the time he particularly bad playoff game but bad regular season games are more and more frequent for Brady.

Nothing like having youth on your side. If you want to win Super Bowls, you have to win them by the time you're 33. After that you might get RATINGS, and sell SEATS, but you're not getting any more RINGS.
