Don't want my girlfriend to go to my games?

I have a basketball game tomorrow and my girlfriend is supposed to come but I really don't want her to. I feel like I play much better when nobody I know is watching. I love her but idk how to tell her i don't want her to come. Would I be considered a jerk for this? I don't want to lose a game in front of her.

why don't you make a little joke out of it and say " I love you/ like you, and I know you wanna come to my game, but I get nervous when people I'm close to watch me play...maybe we can hang afterword. Or you can come to the next one". I don't think you'd be being a douche...just shy. Some girls like that.

Don't ask your gf not to go. She's your gf and she deserves so go cheer you on if she wants to and you probably deserve to be cheered on! So go and just focus on the game don't worry about her during game time. There's plenty of time afterwards to be directed at her.

Well, you better tell you're friends not to be there, since you do not like people you know watching you. I suggest you don't, she's going to think you are cheating in her or don't want her to see what you are doing when she's not there.
