United States electrical service is normally 60/50 hz AC. More importantly, though, is what the voltage requirement is: 110/120V or 220/240V?

There are plenty of plug adapters on the market,
and they can be found in many hardware stores,
electronic parts stores, travel shops, and elsewhere.
One thing you didn't mention is the rated voltage of the item.
You may -- or may not -- also need a step-up transformer.
If you do, use one rated for at least twice
the rated power (watts) as the device draws.
