Depends on who's saying it and what we were doing..

If it was a lover in bed I would probably not say anything.. Just kiss them and give them a cuddle or another roll in the hay.

If it was a random at a pub I would prolly laugh and assume they wanted to hook up.

If it was a partner I would say thanks and probably tell them they are beautiful and give them a cuddle.

Compliments make me feel awkward and although it's certainly nice to hear I don't ever really know what to say. Find it hard to give compliments as well. You never know how they will take them. In the past year I've given one lover several compliments while we were together and she used to think I was saying them just to be nice when in reality I rarely feel that way about a person to give them. I think calling someone beautiful or saying something is beautiful about them means you are in love. That's just me though.
