Y&R: To Recast or Not to Recast??

They plan on it but then again they keep saying they plan on recasting Phyliss as well and I have yet to see that happen.

Supposedly Adam and Billy wind up in a car struggling over the gun, the car goes over the cliff injuring Billy (when he wakes up it'll be as DT) and Adam goes missing, he'll be presumed dead but likely injured and on the run. This gives the show time to recast the role,

BM's last air date is January 30th as well.

I don't see how they can bring back MM, especially with the bad blood between him and Eric Braeden. Braeden has been spilling wrath on Twitter ever since the guy got canned. MM is also going around badmouthing EB behind the scenes, I am convinced. And Nelson Branco is acting as his mouthpiece. If MM goes back on the set, there will be all out war.

It's not relevant to me anyway, as I won't be watching. I know MM is gone for good but I can't accept a recast.

I think though they will eventually recast. The character is integral to the show. I don't know who they will replace with it's something they need to carefully consider.

Billy Miller has taped his last scenes and David Tom has starting working on the set, so I think the new Billy will be appearing in February.

Adam won't be killed off, he will go into a coma. According to the spoilers that Adam will be gone for 3-6 months..

During that time I hope they don't recast him, and with all of the hoopla with the fans I hope he will come back too.

I just can't see anyone else playing his roles.

David Tom is playing Billy, he used to be the old Billy boy..

Miller taped his final Y&R scenes on Thursday, December 19. He'll make his last on-screen appearance on January 30, 2014. David Tom, meanwhile, returns just four days later on February 3, 2014.

They will both be recast, first BM, then MM lateron. It's a shame tho to lose both of them

yes why not? the show will be boring... we need a Adam.
