How to remove moss from garden lawn in January (UK)?
I have some moss in patches on my lawn - Probably because of the all the rain that we have had. Is there anything you could recommend for treating it. I know it's January, but I would like it gone asap.

It is far too early in the year to do anything with a lawn, you need to wait til spring then get a weed and feed moss killer and apply it to the lawn. At the same time you can scarify it and hollow tine it to prevent moss growing back. Take a look at Green Thumb they offer a really good service for doing all the above and are available in most parts of the UK

Last year I raked it all out, made holes in the lawn and filled with sand to help the drainage. This year mine too is filled with moss again. I guess you could always use a moss killer and reseed.

Why would you want to remove it? Moss is great. It doesn't have to be mowed like grass and it helps keep out weeds unlike grass.

Don't bother until end of March when hopefully it will get a bit drier, then get some ferrous sulphate and sprinkle it over the moss.
