Getting ear repierced?

Hi, so i had my ears pierced by a professional piercer in a tattoo&piercing shop. I didnt take the best care of them so i took them out and they healed up. Can i go back and get them repierced over scar tissue? How bad is the pain? I heard its really bad the second time

It actually hurt less for me the second time! But I suppose everyone is different! It will either be the same pain, or not as bad! It won't be worse! X

It's perfectly safe to get them replaced. The scar tissue may be numb so if anything, it will only hurt less.

But if it isn't completely healed in the inside, it could hurt a little more or just be a messier healing process. A good way to know if it's healed is just to simply squeeze your earlobe and if it hurts more than you think it should, it's probably best to wait a while :D

Ear piercings are nothing. You'll be fine. I had my lobes repierced 3 times and then I have another ear piercing repierced 3 times as well

My mother has had her ears re-pierced and they are perfectly fine (:

Bridget's right - it hurts less or exactly the same as the first!
