If the bible is the factual word of a god of love and father of jesus.........?
Do Christians believe in gods rules of rape, murder, slavery etc? And since God allows some rape under certain conditions, isn't it wrong for our society to criminalize Christian rapists since its a part of their belief system?
I was raised Christian by the way so this is a serious question about my rights as a citizen to rape, plunder, murder and all that kind of Christian holiness.
Also if my son cusses at me and I kill him as God commands in the Bible, will my religious freedom to do so be taken from me by the government?
What rights do I have under to constitution to follow the Christian gods law and kill his enemies, rape their wives and stone their family to death?

The bible is not about holy people or saints, evil rules the majority, of this Matt.
1:1-17, lineage that brings forth the Old Testament from the anointed ones,
there is a few good men in all those 1000's of years, Heb.11:1-40, 12:1,2, so
the point is, who can be among the few good one that can live up to what it
really takes to please God, the kind that will deserve eternal life?
Prov.6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him: 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that
shed innocent blood, 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,
feet that be swift in running to mischief, 6:19 A false witness that
speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

You just have a serious confusion problem.
Number 1: God never asked that you go and kill your enemies (he said to love your enemies), rape other people wives (not sure where you got that at all) and stone people to death (this was rooted in the law of Moses, but it is not necessary anymore).
The stoning laws you cited were in the Old testament, and they underlined the consequences for disobeying the law of God, or in other words, the consequences of sinning....
Then God send Jesus Christ as a Lamb to be slain for all our sins. Since Jesus paid the price for all the sins, we no longer have to worry about any of that....we just need to receive the gift of salvation so our own sins can be blotted out.
The same Jesus Christ who paid for your sins then said the following:
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22
So God does not want you to kill your children. He just wants you to put HIM first, love him with all your heart, and love other people with all your heart, including your enemies.

>Me thinks you are confusing Christianity with the Old Testament.
Same god. And Junior says the rules still apply. Mt 5:18
Try again.

Yes sir just like Mikey said. Before Jesus came down (he was the perfect sacrifice) people would do those things and even have to sacrifice animals if a sin was committed for penance. Jesus put an end to this and now we have things like confession.
