Why do we have a Martin Luther King Jr. day but not an Abraham Lincoln day?

Ok I understand we have presidents day where we get together to celebrate all the good things the presidents have done in the past but my point is, if it weren't for Abraham Lincoln, we wouldn't have a Martin Luther King Jr. which even though is true, many people don't realize that.

We have a President's Day that celebrates both Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays. Both of their birthdays are in February.

I agree that's the social wisdom, but take it a step further: have "social reformer's day": MLK, Cesar Chavez, Harvey Milk, etc.
