Premium Edition > Limited Edition.
Limited one simply gives you extra perks together with the base game. While Premium is significantly more expensive because it will give player the access to Battlefield 4 AND all current and future expansion packs that will be released to the game.
NOTE: Make sure the premium you are buying contains the BF4 base game too, rather than is a cheaper version that is just an upgrade and doesn't come with BF4 itself. You should make sure though first that he wants the game, because EA(publisher) of the game has really screwed up this sequel of Battlefield.
